why doesn't FS2004 show hurricanes when using actual weather setting?
FS2006

More accurate airports ? FS2006 will have to have more than that to beat FS2004!! FS2004 already offers us pretty accurate airports. I can vouch for Bangkok 9 out of 10 for accuracy. Manila, 7 out of 10 and Hong Kong 10 out of 10 ! Lisbon 7 out of 10. Not bad.

imagine flight sim allowed the user to be a pilot in a fictional airline. you could start out on props & move all the way up to the 747 or a380!! i know there is an add-on programme but thats just added hastle & cost.!!!

The only thing i would change about FS2004, is the ATC Realism (the voices), and the more detailed buildings and actual scenery not autogen or something. Also, the ability to generate random failures.
FS2006 -- sense of, feeling, of altitude
18 Oct 2005 05:56 GMT - name: Francis
My issue with FS2004 is the sense of altitude - or... lack of it. Scenery passes by too fast. I do a lot of 15, 16 non-stop hrs in the air and at FL360 the ground looks stationary. At FL410, you might as well be in a stationary baloon. The ground does not appear to move at all. THIS is for me the biggest fault in MSFS and hope F10 will improve on this. When FL410 feels more FL140 then it's not as real at it could get.

Adam, only a few posts back, mentions adding passenger views to passenger liners. I agree totally with this one -- being able to look out of the window and be presented with a view of wing, engine(s), smoke trail(s) and the scenery down below. Excellent suggestion. I like re-creating/re-living actual flights I have been in and this would be great to be able to have in FS2006.
