FIRST POST FS2006 and MS Encarta World Atlas
08 Nov 2005 16:06 GMT - name: Francis
An idea which would be entertaining as well as educational. How about more interaction between MSFS 2006 and Microsoft Encarta World Atlas whereas on landing in a city, views of that city would be available to the 'pilot' to view and read about. Like... want to know more and see more of Singapore ? Then plan your flight properly, navigate and fly there. yes
FIRST POST FS2006
08 Nov 2005 16:00 GMT - name: Francis
May be MORE nice little touches like icebergs floating here and there which we already have in FS2004. But in FS2006 I would like very a much more ACCURATE and COMPLETE 3D world where ALL islands, however small, appear in FS2006 yes
FIRST POST real airport and aircrafts and airlines
08 Nov 2005 12:33 GMT - name: ramadan
I liked if the airports where real
and real world airlines and real aircrafts no
FIRST POST FS2006
08 Nov 2005 07:54 GMT - name: Viggen
My small wishlist:
Animated water with better texture.
Birdstrikes if you fly low over wooded areas.
Militaryjets from diffrent eras.
Realistic damagemodel for aircrafts.
Weather affects the aircraft, runways. Ex. Rain makes the airplane/runway wet. yes
FIRST POST FS2006
07 Nov 2005 16:18 GMT - name: Francis
This is what I'd like more of: -- TRY THIS: set visibility to 10, set to dawn light hours and then land the Learjet45 in BIIS... without crashing. Or try taking off BIIS with a full fuel ladden Constellation without hitting the mountains. I can, on 3 out of 5 times. One route I fly frequently is EGPH-BIIS-EGPH. Kind nice to see the permafrost down below... from 12000' up yes
FIRST POST FS2006 & Harald Bauer's post
07 Nov 2005 15:51 GMT - name: Francis
A comment on Harald Bauer's post -- If you love FMC you would love the "A340-300 Professional" package by Just Flight. Their FMC is great and the AirBus flying concept is totally different from Boeing's -- more difficult. And it took me about 3 weeks to understand and master the use of an FMC. - LNAV is fun to use. VNAV, like the real thing apparently, sometimes does not work which is... annoyingly fun !
FIRST POST Helicopter
07 Nov 2005 11:06 GMT - name: Goran Andersson
Add more helicopters. VS 300, Bell 47, Lynx, Super Stallion, Mil Mi 26. Realistic autorotation?
FIRST POST Atis and Approach
07 Nov 2005 06:17 GMT - name: Greg
Would be nice to be able to receive Atis when linked with multiplayer and an improved program for hand over from centre to approach and hand over to tower with vectors to land not available with FS2002 . Don't know if FS2004 is any better. yes
FIRST POST Sound
06 Nov 2005 05:56 GMT - name: Rod
Make better sound because in fs2004 when you whatch the plane from the tower view it is very quiet and when you do a fly by I have notesed that the plane is very loud when it is flying towars you and not that loud when it has flown past, strange!!!eg.a fighter jaet is very loud but not very loud in the game?? confused
FIRST POST weather conditions
06 Nov 2005 05:50 GMT - name: Rod
When it rains make the runways look like they have rain on them and make spray come off of the tyres when a plane is taking off or landing.Make the wind screan wipers come on if there is rain on the window, make realistic VC rain. eeek!
