Hi Drew, I have: P4 2.8 GHz, 512 MB DDR, ATi Radeon 9800 128MB, works fantastic, I can run max settings! Depending on scenery complexity (addons?) you may need more, espec. RAM memory. Let me know once you've made a choice! Anyone else any suggestions?

I'm looking for a new desktop that would be able to run FS2004 very smoothly on the "Ultra High" option. Does anyone have advice about how beefy a system I need to run with the best graphics (i.e. CPU speed, RAM, video card)? Thanks guys!
Hi SWR, go to zone.msn.com/fs2004 and login (you need a .NET account, most hotmail accounts can be used here).
Before you start you need to install some software. If you haven't done so yet, detailed steps will be provided. Good luck & have fun!

Graphics card for FS 2004

Can anybody advise me what kind of graphics card I should buy in order to run FS 2004 hassle free? At present my computer hangs up after 3-4 minutes. This does not occur in SAFE MODE. Thanks
Check to see that other programs are not running. Ctrl-Alt-Delete to see the Windows Task Manager. On XP you can see the CPU usage. Should be very low when on your Desktop. Viruses will also eat up CPU speed.
