Go to SETTINGS, CONTROLS, Calibrate your joystick, then increase your NULL ZONE to about 25. This should help... big grin
FIRST POST Instructor flies me into a mountain!
29 Dec 2006 14:07 GMT - name: Balthazar
Is it just me? When I run through the flight lessons included with Microsoft Flight Sim X, in the third lesson (about ascents and descents), the instructor seems to ignore the approaching scenery and instructs me to fly a descent - right into the mountainside!! no
FIRST POST Aircraft control problem

Hello
I use a sidewinder precision 2 controller and for some reason during take off my aircraft turns to the right and while in flight it banks to the right. Any suggestions how to correct this? Thanks! I typically fly a Baron 58.

When I open the clipboard, the program crashes if I try to scroll down. Also it crashes if I try to print the flightplan. Does anybody knows what is happening?

I say ditch the ATC aspect of flight sim and use the freed up space for scenery enhancments. If you want to fly using ATC, use one of the many free virtual air traffic networks availible. It does look good though, I fear what I may have to do to my computer to use it... roll eyes

Hello Liam,

there's so much freeware out especially F1 view.So get on the web and join us in the sim community.there's a whole world out there just MSFS.

I think it looks amazing! The water is so real, and the houses, the birds, great improvements. cool I can't wait to get it. Still, it's too bad there aren't many screenshots of commercial aviation and airports... sad I'll wait patiently until it comes out. I'm sure it will be A LOT better than FS2004! John

From what I've seen, fS 2006 looks very close to 2004 - too bad. I guess I'll wait FS 2008. What I would like to see in FS in the future is to be able to walk around the airport/aircraft and interactively do a preflight -weather - check the fuel, lift the flaps, ect. But the greatest change FS could make would be to download one perfectly detailed state or province from FS for say $20. I would rather fly in 1 perfect environment than 50 OK ones
